Terms of Use

1. Using Matelle

Matelle provides Pilates programs, exercise demonstrations, focused routines and progress features for personal use. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 to use Matelle.

2. Movement and your wellbeing

Matelle provides general fitness and educational information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy or a substitute for professional care. A personalized plan is based on the information you provide and cannot determine whether an exercise is medically suitable for you.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting if you have a medical condition, injury, pain, are pregnant or recently gave birth, or are unsure about exercising. Use a safe, clear space and stable equipment. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms. Seek medical help when needed. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in account secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share access, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or use the service unlawfully. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some app features may require a paid subscription. Available plans, prices, billing periods and any trial conditions are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. We do not promise a particular price, trial or permanent free access.

Payment is charged through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal under Apple’s displayed terms. If a trial is offered, it may convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Matelle account does not cancel a subscription.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law. You may restore eligible purchases in the app. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.

5. Content and license

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Matelle for your own non-commercial practice, subject to these terms and any applicable Apple license terms. App content, videos, images, branding and software are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy, resell, redistribute or publicly exploit them without permission.

For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies where applicable. Apple is not responsible for providing Matelle support.

6. Availability and changes

We may improve or change features and content and may suspend access for maintenance, security, misuse or legal reasons. We aim to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Any changes to paid access remain subject to applicable consumer law and Apple’s purchase terms.

7. Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, and we do not guarantee particular fitness results or that it will meet every individual need. You are responsible for exercising within your abilities and following professional advice. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory rights and remedies you have as a consumer.

8. Ending use and account deletion

You may stop using Matelle at any time and delete your account in Settings. You must separately cancel any App Store subscription. We may restrict access for material violations of these terms. Terms concerning payments already due, intellectual property and legal responsibilities continue where relevant.

9. Updates and contact

We may revise these terms and will provide an appropriate notice for material changes. The revision date appears above. For questions about these terms, subscriptions, or the service, contact support@matelle.app.
